A Huge Congratulations to Sam Best – Over £16,000 Raised!
We’re thrilled to share the fantastic news that Sam Best has completed the 2025 TCS London Marathon, running an incredible race and raising over £16,000 including Gift Aid in support of Lawrence Nurses!
This is a phenomenal achievement, and we are so grateful to Sam for his dedication, energy, and generosity – and to the entire Best family for their continued support. Every step Sam took has helped make a difference to the patients and families we care for.
Sam says of his endeavours:
“Very happy I/we could raise so much money for a charity that’s so very close to our hearts. It was seriously hot out there and my legs completely went at about 16 miles in, but there was no better motivation to get me over the line than the memory of our beautiful mother and the work Lawrence Nurses put in to ensure we could spend time with her at home in her precious last days. The crowd was incredible and it was such an amazing experience.”
