Three incredible supporters of Lawrence Nurses, Danny Phillips, and brothers Archie and Johnnie Parker, were featured yesterday on the Adam Ball Show on BBC Radio Oxford, where they spoke about their personal marathon journeys and why they are fundraising for Lawrence Nurses.

During the interview with Adam Ball, they shared what motivated them to take on the challenge, the dedication required to train for a marathon, and the personal connections that inspired them to run in support of Lawrence Nurses.

Each runner spoke movingly about what Lawrence Nurses means to them and the difference our nurses make to families in the community by providing compassionate hospice-at-home care, respite support and bereavement support.

Hearing their stories is a powerful reminder of how local fundraising makes a real impact. Every mile they run helps ensure that families needing palliative and end of life care can receive personalised support in the comfort of their own homes.
